About JAC's Class
JAC's Class is a small, free library of interactive games for English-language teachers. Hangman, Jeopardy, Taboo, Codenames, Blockbusters — the classics, built to play in a real classroom on a real projector, without logins, accounts, or paywalls.
Built by a teacher, in a classroom
I'm JAC — a British teacher based in France. Every game on this site started life as something I needed for my own lessons, either with adult learners on technical English programmes or with younger learners working through the CEFR levels. If a game is here, it's because I've used it with a real class.
How games are organised
Each game has a CEFR level (A1 to C1), a topic, an estimated duration, and a game type. You can browse by any of these on the games page, or jump straight to a level — for example B1 Intermediate — or a game type like Taboo.
Free, and staying that way
The games will always be free to play directly on this site. The site itself is supported by light display advertising once enough teachers are using it — that's how I keep it going without putting anything behind a paywall. If you find these useful, the best thing you can do is share them with another teacher.
